Many years ago, Milton enjoyed partaking in a successful 5K. What happened to it? No one knows, but now we have resurrected it. Our very own INAGURAL 5K began like it never really stopped. We had over 130 runners signed up along with many “cheerleaders” at the finish line. This year will hopefully be bigger and better. Our first one was a learning experience and now we will put what we learned into practice. Although the proceeds go to St. Joseph’s Church, our goal is always to bring the community together, in a fun and healthy manner. Therefore, we have decided to make a bigger and better Family Fun Day and Ministry Fair along with the run. There are many things to look forward to including pony rides, fun jumps, and so much more. We hope this event will continue to be a family event that all look forward to attending and participating in. Check out the Photos from last year’s event. The race will begin and end at Picard Park. There will be a one mile fun run for all ages at 9:00am, followed by a 5k at 9:30am. All runners, joggers, walkers, and strollers are welcomed. Afterwards, you will be able to enjoy a delicious bowl of jambalaya, beverages, door prizes, and lots of music.
