COVID-19. I know that for many of you, not only is St. Joseph Catholic Church the heart of the MIlton community (whether Catholic or not), St. Joseph's is also your home, where you come to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, where you offer your Mass daily and on weekends, where sins are removed in the sacrament of Reconciliation. The grace we need! As with Catholic Churches across the nation, we have to make some quick adjustments but remember this as I preached our last time together: that even in tragedy and confusion and chaos Christ remains here for us. We remain faithful for each other.
As we will not have full congregation access to our Church structure for some time and our walk-in procedure for office visits has been suspended, please continue to call us 856-5997 with cemetery needs, tithing infomation, mass offerings, church records, etc. Thanks for your patience too as our staff must also be sure to take care of their own health.
Deacon Keith and I will be readily available for prayer and liturigcal needs and to follow/implement directives from Bishop Deshotel. He has asked for our obedience in following these directives closely and St. Joseph will continue to live up to our patron and name sake. Whatever we can do to honor Christ and remain obdedient to the Father and the Mother of our Church.
We will try our best to be a place of normacy as Jesus would expect from his disciples and clergy. Mass for the people will be livestreamed Sunday at 10:30 AM. Confessions will be held in the Gathering Space of Church on Saturdays at 3pm

St. Joseph Parish is building a tradition of community spirit, rooted in Jesus Christ by inviting all youth and adults to full participation in parish life. We seek to nurture the spiritual growth of all families throughout the liturgy, sharing the faith, serving one another, a reverent devotion of the Eucharist, and sharing the Good News. This mission is a celebration of our faith.
